Every aloon client gets one. Here is what happens the first time, and what is inside once you are in.
Your portal is ready, and the email says so. It carries one link. That link works once and expires after three days, so if it has run out by the time you get to it, use the forgot password link on the sign in page and a fresh one arrives.
At least ten characters. Setting it signs out every other device on the account, which is the point: the link that got you here stops working the moment you have a password of your own.
There is no second sign in step. A short walkthrough runs once over your Overview and points at the parts you will actually use. You can replay it any time from Settings.
Your project, your invoices, your documents and your agreements, on the left, in that order. Nothing is hidden behind a support request.
The Overview is not a dashboard of charts. It is a page that answers the question you actually signed in with, which is where the work has got to.
Build is being built now.
That sentence, or whichever one is true this week, is the largest thing on the page. Under it is the arithmetic behind it: which stage of five the build is on, when it last moved, and how many days are left before launch.
Then what changed since you were last here, in one line. Then money, kept plain: paid to date, outstanding, and what the next payment is waiting on. Alongside it, once your system is live, its uptime, its last backup and its certificate.
The rest is a short list of what has happened lately, most recent first, each with the day it happened. Nothing on the page needs a support request to read, and nothing on it is a number without a sentence saying what the number means.
